Shine your Light

Here are my top 8 reasons to come out of your zone and spread your light like it’s Batman’s beacon. 

  1. Role model. Who is looking at you for guidance and support or who do you interact with often? People touch each other’s lives every minute. Be someone who shares light and love. Amp up your inner glow.
  2. Better Focus. Energy flows where focus goes. Covid showed us how we can reduce distractions in our days and be tapped into our inner world. So do the inner work to find the answers that will fuel your next steps and get into action. 
  3. New Habits. I’m a big fan of adding new habits that contribute in making the life you want happen. Instead of focusing on removing bad habits, I like to help you create new habits and buddying up with a friend is a great way to practice and make new habits stick. 
  4. Issues Grow. I hate to say it, but it’s true. Any issues you may have left unattended in your heart will most probably come out while you are in witholding yourself from your life. Relationships feel the strain. Why settle?  
  5. Self-Care. You deserve love and joy, (duh! you knew that of course) and you need to prioritize getting enough of it (knew that too, right? But are you doing it?). If the blues are getting to you, find help. Put yourself first, so you are better equipped to support others. 
  6. Movement. Movements of the body get the brain into a great state. If you thought 50 Jumping Jacks won’t move the needle, think again. Get blood pumping through your body and you will help optimize your lymphatic system and remove toxins from your system. Avoiding clogged systems in your body will improve mood, focus and get you going.
  7. Rest(less). Do you get restless when you feel like not much is happening? Trust that inner feeling and find ways to make steps forward. It will help create a sense of purpose and get you out of the dreaded couch-funk.
  8. More Time. No more excuses for not pursuing what you want. A better relationship, a change in career, finding ways to make money, conquering fears, sticking to stuff you start, believing in yourself, simplifying your life, finding purpose or satisfaction can be yours now. So why wait?
